Interpretive Centre

In the midst of the dry savanna country of the Australian Outback lies Clancy's Lagoon with its spectacular Interpretive Centre. The Interpretive Centre is a blend of modern and vernacular North Queensland architecture using the traditional materials of corrugated iron and timber with sweeping views across Clancy's Lagoon to the Hann Tableland National Park. The centre is staffed by expert guides ready with advice and assistance on activities and the Reserve’s natural history.

The Centre is the hub for all tours and activities and houses the Gouldian Finch breeding aviary for the reintroduction program, reference library, interpretive information on conservation projects and the birdlife of the Lagoon and a spotting scope for birdlife and wildlife viewing from the deck.

Whether exploring by foot, electric boat, canoe or vehicle, Jabiru Safari Lodge allows guests to fully experience the wildlife and outback environment.
